The statements on this page are based off of my interpretations of Mocha Ray Cookie and the Cookie Run lore, and may not align with your own. If any of this is rendered inaccurate in the future, you may let me know. Sources for any screenshots include various Cookie Run wiki pages, the official Youtube channel, and my own screenshots. Also, this is long. Be warned of that. In addition, while writing this, I have attempted to make an emotional barrier in my writing, as to not bias it further towards my wife's purity.

As of right now, this is largely outdated due to the release of the Living Deep Sea City Update, and I will be slowly updating it up to date with my own interpretations of the event, mostly to do with her interactions with Abyss Monarch Cookie. Please keep this in mind, and thank you.

Design Analysis

Appearance is first impressions, and first impressions go towards the general reception of a character. That is why character design is so important in gacha games such as Cookie Run, and why character designs in Cookie Run are usually so great. The artistry and storytelling departments of Devsisters is like one of maybe three things that make this game even worth it to play, and I cannot help but give my greatest thanks to those creatives who have not only made such a grand world, a great cast of characters, but also, well, my wife.

sources: lobby idle, bonus-time animation back sprite

The shape design is one hidden by the veil on her back, but with or without that, her design is soft, both in shape and color. The only sharp angles on her are parts of her headpiece, and the markings on the back of the veil. Her overall sillohute is hidden, which plays well into a personality just as well-hidden under a surface of gentle formality.

Calling from her name, the aspects of both coffee and stingray play in very nicely with each other. While a bit brighter than a mocha/chocolate coffee would usually be, the colors all align with a brown-orange-yellow scheme. This is analogous, and gentle on the eyes in both the terms of the hues as well as the saturation and brightness of them. Contrast is given with her hair, which is a slightly saturated orange that frames her face, as well as a rulebreaker for the analogous scheme of the colors. The teal is a complementary color, and is placed on the jewel of her headpiece, two markings on the neck of her robes, and designs on the back of the veil, including another jewel on the back, tied down through a braid-ish part. The designs on the clothespieces are elaborate, and hammer in her importance. The jewel also is there to frame the face and make her head a focus, as, despite the three-color pattern on her robes, there's not a lot to look at there compared to her upper half.

The stingray parts are mostly within the clothes as well, as well as a peculiar set of ears on top of her head. Are they ears? Probably not, but rather what is called a cephalic horn, which is present on manta rays, as well as other species of ray. They aren't shown moving except for slight manipluations with wind and other natural elements. The veil is also the main basis for the stingray shape, again, with sillohute. If one looked down at Mocha Ray in the water while she was swimming, she'd probably just look like an actual ray. Of course, this does not call into her other ray themings, such as, well, the Great Ray existing in the first place.

Now, onto body language, or rather, face language. Her face is as gentle as the rest of her -- but very unique as well. Her eyes are almost always closed, except for when experiencing mostly a negative emotion, and mostly some form of distain at that. The curve of her closed eyes changed upwards or downwards depending on emotion as well, but for the most part, it is hidden with that kittymouth. Speaking of, my main weakness when it comes to Mocha Ray -- kittymouth. The :3. Every expression she makes is adorned with even the slightest hint of that. Mouth open? Kitty. Yelling? Kitty. There is always kittymouth. Despite these features, most of the time, her facial expression is rather cheerful, well described in ASCII as a ^w^. Again, most of her is hidden very well.

In addition, as talked about, Mocha Ray's design calls for a religious context as well, as seen in this chart below.

However, there is also one more thing, more opinionated than the rest of this section, that I'd like to touch upon.

Does Mocha Ray have legs and arms, or are the robes her body?

I've seen countless interpretations of this, since Mocha Ray's body is entirely hidden except for that pure face. However, here's my expressions on the matter. She has legs, this is made clear in the Lost City of Sugarteara splash art, as well as a few other sprites having what is the bending of hips and knees.

source: splash screen for lost city of sugarteara update, also my own terrible redlining

There is legs! Joints! As for the arms, while there is no definite proof of this, I like to see her as having a normal body entirely underneath her clothes. No reason otherwise, as well as that for any other cookie with an "abnormal" limb, there is usually a reason why, mostly because of some funky prosthetic...AHEM.

But overall, she just has this...aura around her, of kindness, that a lot of my friends do comment on. She just looks nice to be around and to know, and that's the first impression I was talking about earlier. She looks nice, and that helps give the player a hint as to who she is -- she is not what Lobster said she was in their own lies.

Notes on the symbol on the back of her veil.

Ever since Mocha Ray Cookie has released, I have taken into account that there is a symbol that goes without mention in any form of storyline on the back of her veil. You can see it in a few sprites in gameplay, but most easily seen on the flip-around any cookie spritesheet has when they enter a bonus area.

However, this symbol also appears, with slight variation, across various other forms of Cookie Run media. During the build-up to Season 8 and the Living Deep Sea City update, this was posted, an obvious closer look at Sugarteara.

source: cookie run official tweet 1672061918004105221

This one is more elaborate, but still carries the main shape of the design, which is the fancy line of a teardrop shape, as well as the general use of "wings" as outside decor for it. However, I have some merit to believe that this is, if not greatly similar to, the area in which Mocha Ray Cookie had given the prosthetic claw to Lobster Cookie in the Bake My Day animation. And again, this symbol appears with slight differences within the back of the Great Stingray, which can also be seen in the same Bake My Day.

source: bake my day: lobster and mocha ray

Now, onto my more personal thoughts about this repeated symbol. I do not believe that it has any greater meaning other than the general connections between Mocha Ray Cookie, the stingrays in general, and Sugarteara both as a whole and within only the temple itself for now, just because that feels like it would be reaching into meanings that simply aren't there. The teardrop shape of the main indicator is, obviously, there for Sugarteara, while the wing accents, I feel are meant to elevate the holy ambience of this symbol. They're kind of like angel wings to me. I'm biased, though -- I love angel symbolism a lot.

The Great Ray, and Other Friends

A moment for somebody I had glossed over in the simplified page about Mocha Ray Cookie is her companion in this world -- the Great Ray. This is the star of her own ability in gameplay, as well as a few others I'll mention here.

source: mocha ray's ability animation

It looks just like her! Except more elaborate, animalistic (obviously), and still a great friend. Parts of it give off an illusion that it is smiling, adding to the warmth of Mocha Ray. There's more usage of the teal color, on the horns, back, tail, and otherwise. There are also two thin metal rings on said tail. More evidence on the friend part is given in the story blab all Cookies have as an extra description in Cookie Run.

The reclusive Mocha Ray Cookie rarely leaves the temple grounds, but whenever doing so, riding atop a Great Stingray is the preferred method of travel.

Again with the hidden mysteries of Mocha Ray, but also with her trust clearly being in the Great Ray for this. They've been around for a long time, enough to have themselves to rely on for this, and nobody else(?). However, it could've also been that...there's too many possibilities as to how they're so close, actually! But as another clue to their bond, they also share the same back markings, although with the Great Ray's being more elaborate and larger.

source: bake my day - mocha ray and lobster

Maybe they're related...? So, moving on, the other friends. I call them seafriends because I don't have a better word for it.

source: pet sprites are pretty idle, dont worry about it.

Mocha Ray Cookie's pet, Lantern Jellyfish. If you are highly unfamiliar with Cookie Run: Ovenbreak, every Cookie has a seperate pet with its own ability, and when paired together, grant a point bonus for both. Some combinations work better than others. Lantern Jellyfish's ability is lighting itself up to slow health drain, which is useful, as Mocha Ray Cookie was not designed to be a high-health cookie because of this combination. Also, it's own story.

Lantern Jellyfish has long guarded the Temple of Sugarteara in tandem with the stingrays. Follow this Pet and you can reach the temple safe and sound. How many Cookies has this Pet guided to the temple over the years? Apparently, a great many since everyone says that this Lantern Jellyfish's lights are more reliable than a map.

Again with the stingray connections. Mocha Ray, Lantern Jellyfish, and the Great Stingray all are in a great cohorts with each other. Lantern is also morally good, like Mocha Ray, and seemingly intelligent. A great contrast to how Jellyfish in real life are quite literally brainless, but it works out well.

source: mocha ray's ability animation

They're also part of her game ability, rounded up by the Great Ray and then bringing her certain objects after the main ability concludes. These include two objects that grant a set amount of points, with one possibly resembling some sort of Sugarteara currency, and the other being a coffee-themed health potion.

source: mocha ray's ability jellies

However, this is not the only set-in-stone friend that Mocha Ray considers to be her friend. However, on the other end of this relationship, things seem much more strained.

The Foil, Lobster Cookie

Unfortunately, and perhaps a bit irritabilly, Mocha Ray Cookie's story and self cannot be talked about in full without Lobster Cookie being brought up in some way. The two are simply inseperable, and for good reason, but I still sometimes wish for a conversation that does not involve this corrupted knight. But alas, again, intertwining.

A foil, in literary definition, is a character introduced as an opposite to somebody and to highlight a certain feature in that somebody. Both in the context of the story and outside of it, Lobster and Mocha Ray are a prime example of foils. Lobster is brought out first, Mocha Ray comes in, and she is the one who highlights the corrupted thinking in Lobster's plans for the pearl. Lobster's impulsive, high-energy, and pessimistic nature is a contrast to Mocha Ray's -- calm, and a beam of sunshine for the rest of the characters who truly needed one. Speaking of, almost every character in the Lost City of Sugarteara plot can be considered a foil duo. Peppermint and Sorbet Shark, Pirate and Captain Ice, Sea Fairy and...Eerie Anglerfish. Somewhat, but the story plays off of how foils interact, and can either team up based off of this, or become disarrayed.

However, things were not always as tainted with Lobster Cookie, as Mocha Ray makes extra sure to keep notes on.

sources: lost city of sugarteara cutscenes, cookie run wiki

The gleaming idealism of Mocha Ray here is hard, if not impossible to ignore. Despite everything, despite almost being killed by someone she knew so dearly to her heart, the worst of betrayels, and everything she knew being gone...she looks ahead, perhaps knowing something I don't, and, dare the casuality, is having an "i can fix them" moment about the whole situation. She sees that purity in Lobster because, well, before Lobster's corruption, there was already proof to Lobster's bravery and knightship. Mocha Ray still believes in this. She looks to a future she can fix, and thus, chases that future and the only other cookie that could possibly know or understand what both of them want.

And the two of them have known each other for so long -- the Bake my Day. Mocha Ray gave Lobster their own right claw, the prosthetic made out of the same material as everything else, and now, vanished away with the rest of Sugarteara. Broken tiara means nothing to a claw lost again, the only possible reminiscent of Sugarteara Lobster would've even had.

With Lobster being further and further dragged away into the influences of Darkness, this search continues. But...why? Mocha Ray could've just as easily resided on lands, retreated into a normal life, and let someone so determined to be led astray to dig their own hole. Or could she have done that at all? Enter the subtletlies of her role as a priestess, and a simularily darker truth emergences when thought about for too long.

But before that, I must also note on a cleverness between Mocha Ray and Lobster's bond on behalf of character design. Their color schemes are inversed.

sources: i mean i got this diagram off of reddit but its their idles

Note, however, the red in Lobster's design is entirely missing off of Mocha Ray's, which stands out more in this inversement. The two are, again, linked irreparably, but the differences between the two guardians of Sugarteara could be more important than anything else.

An Empty Identity Death, Downer One

Mocha Ray's reasoning for searching after Lobster, while confusing at first, reaches a settlement that narrows the two down to their connection even more -- Mocha Ray truly does not have anything else to return to, either. Lobster has enough physical brute to perhaps be picked up for some hard labor work, but their emotions regarding what they've regarded as a home for so long prevents any of the solutions from coming to mind. With Sugarteara's physical form lost, so is Lobster's identity. Ego death ensues.

And the same could be said for Mocha Ray, but in not just a well-hidden emotional way, but in her entirety as well. This is even further hidden by a statement Lobster makes in the fight of rage and turmoil.

sources: lost city of sugarteara cutscene

This is...well, meant to be, but one of the most hard-hitting lines I have seen in any game, despite it being in a gacha game meant for children. Lobster had the opprotunities to meet others through his role as a sentinel, and when the city was abandoned, that was ripped from them. And it's like a bandage being ripped off -- it stings for quite a while, or even, as clearly seen with Lobster's extremist actions, an eternity. However, Mocha Ray, again, never had this choice to be within the society she even lived in, and it is even stated. She's trapped within her own role of the temple's keeper. Her religious role is high, respected, but lonely. Perhaps she is just used to it, but then again...there was no choice for her in this. Lobster could've easily had a choice. Mocha Ray had nothing of that. Going back to her story blurb,

The Keeper of the Temple, Mocha Ray Cookie, has kept vigil since the very beginning. Despite the soft smile and enchanting mocha aroma, no one has been truly able to peer into the Keeper's thoughts and intentions.

And nobody's been able to get through to her head because nobody's ever been close enough to achieve that, because, as constantly reminded, she's a shut-in. She's shut inside her services, with animals to keep her company, and perhaps Sea Fairy Cookie through the pearl, but not much else. And for that length of timespan. A beginning, for a city that's surely lasted upon vague ages. She's an old soul, an old and lonely soul. Shoving somebody like her into a society shown outside of the city would not be a good idea at all -- she is not used to people, regular work, any of that. Perhaps she'd just slink into hermitism once more if that was to happen.

And it's never implicated if this was her choice or not. She's just like this, and used to it as well. It's all Mocha Ray has known. The city, the temple much, much more, her role in that, and now, gone. It's all gone with a glimpse of the eyes, but despite all of this, despite crushing odds against Mocha Ray...

An Empty Identity Death, Upper Two

...She remains just as pure and idealistic as she was with the pearl. Her immediate actions after the collapse was not to become a sitting rock, but rather, to search after what little is left of the city -- Lobster. Despite everything. Despite fucking anything in the past how-longs, Mocha Ray looks ahead without a single visible worry, a pure smile given to those temporary allies before floating away on the Great Ray.

Perhaps it is the isolation that Mocha Ray has gone unto that let her make such a wonderful decision for herself. Without knowing what could even come with it, a decision as simple as "I need to help the only person I have left," is an easy one. Hopeful idealism. What a wonderful keeper she is.

"Despite everything, moving on," is perhaps the best words that could sum up anything about Mocha Ray. Achievements, personality, whatnots. A light in the dark that brightens when one needs to see it. The selfless, taken after her worshipped god, who simply does what needs to be done in her moralistic eyes, all with a smile on that face that's gone through so much. There's just something about this that tugs at my heart, brings such a joy that one needs. A sun in the life of everyone she meets...that's her. May that journey she undertakes serve her well and alive.

Sugartearan Sacred Guardian

Costumes in Cookie Run: Ovenbreak are often used to explore otherwise untouched potentials in the lore for the game, whenever that be the past of a cookie, the future, or an entirely alternative universe (these are basically canon if you go into even the basics of the Time-Balance Department lore). This one is no exception -- Sugartearan Sacred Guardian is a look into when Sugarteara was at its prime, and Mocha Ray Cookie was just made the honorable guardian of the Sacred Pearl! She treats this duty with nothing but the utmost importance, and remains humble despite this. However, as with basically everything else about her, a few lines stick out as having certian, explorable importance and other implications. Multiple lines mention her role underneath the High Regent, which is Octopus Cookie...now known as Abyss Monarch Cookie.

source: cookie run wiki

Also, this one in particular. Sea Fairy Cookie, as will be dived into right after this, is of the utmost importance to Mocha Ray Cookie. However, there's a certain somber feeling to be obtained from the idea of your hometown's power source being your god's sadness.

Her God, Sea Fairy Cookie

The idealism, the selflessness, and the attitute is all in honor of who she serves, protects, and is looked after by -- Sea Fairy Cookie, the literal Goddess, and the hopeless romantic. Sea Fairy's hopeless romanticism turns into a despair-like emotion, which turned into the tears that formed the Sacred Pearl that formed Sugarteara which Mocha Ray is there to guard. Simple as, a religious relationship such as this. What brought Sugarteara to be abandoned by civilians was that power-source of raw emotions. A city based off of the suffering of it's own God would surely fall apart eventually, and even Mocha Ray takes note of this.

source: lost city of sugarteara cutscene

But what became their demise also gave this God an opprotunity to rise from her hopelessness, and attempt to reach her lover once more. As with how Mocha Ray and Lobster are so intertwined, Sea Fairy cannot be talked about without her lesbian implications with Moonlight Cookie. Sea Fairy's every motivation is to try and reach her lover one more, and this has been stated and hinted time and time again. Despite the vagueness of her statements about the moon, there is no argument that can be made about this -- Sea Fairy is a lesbian. I have, can, and will fight people over this one. Sea Fairy also fits said lesbian stereotype of being so, so attached to the lover. If this was a slice of life it'd be the U-Haul shit. But back to the main topic of Mocha Ray's worship of Sea Fairy.

Sea Fairy's main morale through implications seems to just be...kindness, empathy, the lot. Mocha Ray idealizes these traits as a result, and with nothing else to influence her, she has become a shining example of selflessness. This comes back to Mocha Ray's isolation, which has only strengthened this. Mocha Ray is, without a doubt, extremely religious. Always will be. However, interestignly enough, in the English release, her worship is toned down. I spent some time translating her Korean and Japanese dialogue to a more direct English, and it is clearly stated that Sea Fairy is her God. Not in English, which is, while simple enough at first, detremential to understanding Mocha Ray's behavior.

A better explanation of Sea Fairy Cookie can be found within my friend's essay, linked here.

However, Sea Fairy's despair that comes from the same place as her love that powers her, is also the sheer reason why Sugarteara, as a place, was doomed from the start -- one cannot remain in despair forever. However, the possibility of this is explored with the Dread Trident of the Abyss costume, which shows a fully corrupted Sea Fairy Cookie. Notably, the background for the lobby that you obtain along with this costume shows...Sugarteara's temple, still standing. Sugarteara lives on, but at what cost?

But speaking of Sea Fairy's love, her lover has a guardian, too.

An Interesting Parallel -- Blueberry Pie Cookie

This will be short and simple, but when people ask me for a fun fact about Mocha Ray, I do usually default to talking about these parallels betwen the guardian of the sea and the guardian of the moon.

Both are modestly dressed, with a jewel on their heads. Mocha Ray's jewel points up, while Blueberry Pie's points downward. The two of them are guardians to a respective god, and very close to the gods as a result. They both have experiences with what could be considered the supernatural, with the Sacred Pearl, and Blueberry Pie being cursed.

It only feels so right to think of these two's simularities. Meant to be...hey, wonder who else was meant to be. Y'know, like Sea Fairy and Moonlight being together eventually once more. Yeah, I lied about shutting up about SeaMoon. Oops.

Dialogues, Relationships, Other Tidbits

Those smaller things that add up to more. Those things that wouldn't fit anywhere else...are very important to Cookie Run characters specifically. First, some highlight Lobby quotes.

source: cookie run wiki

Something I haven't touched upon yet is these two lines, which hint at Mocha Ray's own flaws. She's very self-doubting and subservient to others, letting anyone take the lead before her. This is also supported with the Japanese translation of Cookie Run, where she always refers to other cookies as superiors, and with respect.

source: cookie run wiki

Again with Mocha Ray's long-term isolation, her only point of reference for other places and objects is to compare them to her temple, her home. The last one here is quite interesting -- her and the Great Ray communicate through an unknown means. Note that the third one in that list is also no longer used in-game, as the material used to prompt this dialogue was removed.

source: cookie run wiki

Now, onto relationship chart quotes. She regonizes Peppermint and Sorbet Shark as good, Peppermint a bit more. There is something very vague about her statement about Sorbet Shark, though...living in the barren ocean doesn't give much of a surprise on that one, though. Or maybe it does mean something bigger?

source: cookie run wiki

What is the destiny that Mocha Ray talks about here? Well, for Sea Fairy, she is already fighting against a destiny of being frozen in body and heart, and seeimingly doing it well, all in the names of reaching her lover. As for Mocha Ray, her destiny was to serve the pearl, but she had followed this until the pearl's very end. And now, for them, fighting against destiny was finding love. Mocha Ray, specifically's fight is to find Lobster again, and be able to recreate the city they guarded together, and for Mocha Ray to be headfirst about it, to take control of her own life -- perhaps for the first time.

source: cookie run wiki

Despite the two's vastly different personalities, they have always had the same goal in mind, and loved the same city. Even with Lobster's misguided attempts at revival, Mocha Ray still holds faith in them enough to stick with them in their shared quest to rebuild Sugarteara.

source: cookie run wiki

Mocha Ray has a rather positive view on Electric Eel, and for good, obvious reason as well -- to be welcomed into Wandercrab with such arms by a cookie as optimistic despite their situation as Electric Eel is nothing more than a great experience to look back on.

...Abyss Monarch is another story. Abyss Monarch's departure from Sugarteara while they were still the high regent, Octopus Cookie, was the catalyst for the start of the collapse of Sugarteara. Presumably, Mocha Ray was left in the dark about the reason why Octopus left until she had found out much, much later in Wandercrab of all places -- of course there would still be some form of resentment over this. Even if, from our own perspectives, the departure was nothing more than justified -- an entire city, and all she ever knew, taken down because of this, not to mention that she had to beckon for them to not leave, and then witness them leaving anyways in the Season 8 trailer.

For that, the only cookie Mocha Ray could hold what could even be called a grudge against. Tension.

source: cookie run wiki

Interesting, Mocha Ray has only one relationship chart with a character she was not directly involved with, and it is...another guardian character. These types of relationship chartings are common in Cookie Run, meant to give a sense of a character interacting in a society, not just existing in it. Mocha Ray's lack of these is due to the overstated isolation. Churro Cookie is Millenial Tree's weirdo self-doubting spiritual guardian...I like to imagine the God-Guardians I've talked about here occasionally meet up for tea or something as a result of this.

Now, what do other characters say about Mocha Ray Cookie?

Peppermint Cookie also considers Mocha Ray a friend back, which is nice for such a timid child. Sea Fairy reassures Mocha Ray that they will both, indeed, be fighting for themselves. Lobster laments that she is against him, and yet, was a guardian of the city. Again with Lobster being corrupted to the very soul by Eerie Anglerfish and Dark Enchantress and whatnot.

And speaking of that, Mocha Ray Cookie has only been mentioned once after the events of Sugarteara in story cutscene contexts -- the Cradle of Darkness event.

source: eveningemerald's recording of the cradle of darkness cutscenes

Lobster Cookie, while perhaps trying to brush it off as shock, still cares about Mocha Ray, enough to react like this. Mocha Ray Cookie is just as determined to find them as well. It's a goose chase with no end in sight...for now! In addition, Pomegranate Cookie's dialogue right after this is a swift reminder of the futileness of their desires -- without the other, neither Lobster or Mocha Ray could rebuild Sugarteara's legacy. Hope for the best. That's what Mocha Ray is doing, after all...hoping, and then chasing those hopes blindly. Oh, polyanna mindset, perhaps, how I wish I had it back.

The rest of this page will go over smaller appearances Mocha Ray Cookie has had in Cookie Run Ovenbreak or related Cookie Run Media.

sources: lotus wish event (2021), new year's 2022 event

One is a prayer, the other a wish to find Lobster Cookie again. There was one more of these, but I am unable to find any archive of it.

Hyeon is revealed as Mocha Ray and Spinach's character designers in a Youtube video introducing some of the artists. Also, GEDI, who no longer works for Devsisters, designed Lobster.

A well-hidden Mocha Ray buff in the update logs for the October 2021 update. Thank you, Devsisters, very cool.

On a poster in the background of a picture of Community Manager Rose, the two are seen as shown here.

Mocha Ray and Lobster appear on the left side of the art of basically every Cookie that was released in honor of the 7th anniversary of the game. They're also seperated from most of the cast, which is certainly a detail. Obvious reasons as to why.

Mocha Ray Cookie appears in at least two of the collection sheets in the game. The first one here is for the Lost City of Sugarteara event altogether, and can be obtained through having all of the cutscenes for the event unlocked. The second is completed when you have maxxed both her and her pet's level, as well as reached Diamond rank on her trial.

Mocha Ray also was in one of the restaurant mini-events. Her first comment when served is that the food's easy to carry around, but when served more than one time, she wishes that she could eat this with...well, the sentence is cut off, but you already know the answer to this. She misses them so much it's unreal.

As of the October 2022 update, Mocha Ray has a random chance to appear as a cameo in Randomized Breakouts, giving the player a choice that leads to either a points boost for jellies or obstacle destruction. The implications of this event are pretty interesting. What is a Sea Energy Jelly? Why would Mocha Ray trust what is presumably a stranger with the reconstruction of Sugarteara? And, of course, the reconstruction's delay because of how eagerly she searches for Lobster Cookie.

If you have screenshots of the following in English, please comment on the Neocities page for this website. In late 2022, CROB hosted another costume poll for the cookies, which included daily messages from the cookie you had voted for. Mocha Ray is no exception, reaching a surprising standing of around 80th to 70th place. Her messages are as follows (may not be accurate, translated from JP screenshots) -- asking about prayer, and then inviting you to pray with her.

With these mini-notes out of the way -- when I had initially released this website, Sugarteara's story was uncontinued for two long years, and I had little hopes to it ever being picked up again. This led to me drifting away from Cookie Run altogether. However, when I came back to Cookie Run at the suggestion of a friend in early 2024, I had found out that, while I was paying attention to other forms of media, the Living Deep Sea City update was released. I watched it unfold on my own pace, and I felt like something inside of me had been filled altogether by this. While the ending for that update felt rushed...I could not be happeir otherwise with this. To see Mocha Ray Cookie upheld again was nothing more than witnessing true beauty. For her to one day achieve her happy ending would make me outright blessed to watch it occur.

I hope that the love I have for Mocha Ray Cookie is at least felt strongly here, and that the readers of this website could come to appreciate her a little more because of this.
